This month, meet NATALIE!
Natalie is PUP’s marvelous Maintenance Manager! Not only does she manage and schedules all things maintenance, she has also worked at the front desk, helped with property management, and continues to wear multiple hats and contribute to multiple rolls. She is basically a PUP expert with 5 years of experience this month!
While Natalie is a Maintenance Manager superstar now, when she was small, she dreamed of shining in a different way: She wanted to be the singer of a punk rock band. (We could see it!) Speaking of singing, Natalie’s go to karaoke songs are either “Grand Theft Autumn/Where is Your Boy?” by Fall Out Boy OR “Mr. Jones” by Counting Crows. Her first job from 14 to 18 years old was making pizza and subs at a gas station. Natalie’s favorite thing about her current position is “the window in [her] office allowing an adorable view of the puppies.” Her ideal birthday (June 27th, by the way) would consist of “a large waffle breakfast (topped with strawberries + cream), followed by a nap, a trip to the beach or a hike, and finished with a relaxing evening with family and friends.” (Um, SAME! You can plan my birthday anytime, Natalie!) If she could eat only one meal for the rest of her life, she would choose either burgers and fries or tacos. (Yum!!!) While we are on the subject of food, the kitchen appliance Natalie uses every day is…you guessed it…the fridge 🙂 At home, her favorite ice cream topping is Oreos on vanilla ice cream. However, when going out to a place like Culver’s, Natalie likes brownie bites. The last movie she saw in theaters was Thor Love and Thunder and thought it was “GREAT,” as she loves Marvel movies! On the subject of Marvel, the fictional place Natalie would most like to go is Asgard (where Thor is from in case you are not a Marvel fan). When asked, If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?, she answered: “Billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist. Just kidding! I would take the first two and build everything I need to be like Batman and Ironman.” (That would be pretty cool!) When given the choice between rollercoasters or waterslides, Natalie said rollercoasters. However, both freak her out more and more the older she gets and she requires coaxing to partake in either. Something Natalie really wants but cannot afford is a really big house with lots of land for a hobby farm and all the time in the world to care for it. Speaking of money, if she won the lottery, she would first be responsible and invest (SMART!), then get an RV and travel for 6 to 12 months. The next place Natalie wants to go is either all the national parks/other cool spots in our country so she could bring her family and two dogs (maybe in the RV?) OR fly to Greece or Paris. Her favorite holiday tradition is setting up the Christmas tree with her husband, and now BABY, while watching a Christmas movie. Natalie only speaks one language…unless you count baby talk, which she is fluent in as a new mom. She is not a huge reader but she loved Max Brook’s “The Zombie Survival Guide” and actually bought it twice.
So, if you happen to see Natalie out and about, be sure to say “hi” and maybe ask her to sing a couple bars of her favorite Karaoke songs OR her opinion on Marvel versus DC. |
